A very welcome bonus is that this salon accepts cards like any proper business on the high street should and is open on Sundays. A later mishap with toe varnish ( a training issue with one of her colleagues) was sorted out by Seema. Complimentary coffee and a warm welcome awaits a visit here.Posted on Google Camilla Kille20/09/2024 Brilliant service. Even got a glass of Prosecco whilst getting my nails done! Nails are fab. Beautiful natural henna designs for weddings, cultural events, parties and modern temporary tattoos.
Henna tattoo, also known as mehndi, is a traditional and artistic form of natural temporary body art that has been part of Indian and Pakistani culture for generations, especially for weddings and special occasions.
At Seema’s Beauty Salon in Totton, we offer professional henna services for brides, families, celebrations and also for clients who want to experience henna as a stylish temporary tattoo.
Bridal henna is one of our most popular services. Brides usually book their mehndi 1–2 days before the wedding so the colour develops deeply for the big day.
Designs can be simple or highly detailed, covering hands, arms or feet, and are often personalised to reflect tradition, outfits and cultural preferences.
Henna is commonly booked for weddings, engagements, mehndi nights, Eid celebrations and family functions.
Henna is a plant-based, skin-safe temporary tattoo. Unlike permanent tattoos, it fades naturally within 1–2 weeks, making it ideal for parties, festivals and holidays.
This makes henna especially popular with English clients and teenagers looking for something fun, fashionable and different.
We also offer party and festival henna and guide you on design choice, placement and aftercare for the best results.
Many clients combine henna with other treatments such as Body Massage, Body Waxing or Facials during the same visit.
If you’re looking for henna tattoo in Totton or Southampton for a wedding, cultural occasion or temporary tattoo experience, we’re here to help.

Henna is a beautiful temporary body art option, but like any treatment, it has advantages and a few things to consider.
Follow these aftercare steps to help your henna stain develop darker, last longer and stay beautiful.
The longer you leave the henna paste on, the darker and deeper the stain will be. Some clients even leave it on overnight.
Allow the henna to air-dry completely. Avoid smudging, touching or cracking the paste.
Dab a lemon juice and sugar mixture over the dried paste to help keep it moist and intensify the colour.
Once fully dry, rub off the paste gently with your fingers or a blunt object. Avoid using water to remove it.
Let the stain oxidise and darken. Avoid handwashing, showers, swimming or applying products to the area.
Heat helps intensify the stain. Try to keep your hands or feet warm after application for better results.
Washing too soon can weaken the stain and prevent it from developing fully.
Avoid products on the area for at least 24 hours to preserve and deepen the colour.
Scrubbing can fade the stain quickly and reduce design longevity.
Stay out of pools and hot tubs for 24–48 hours, as chlorine can fade henna faster.
